PET-FRIENDLY CHRISTMAS AT CORNERWAY HOUSE

To have been at Cornerway House over the Christmas period, you would have to be pet friendly ! At one time there were 9 dogs here!! Different shapes, sizes and ages from 3-month-old puppy to 11-year-old dog, they all showed love and affection to one another ! The poop mound enlarged and all responsible owners were amazed by the ability to “pick up” every day with no bother.
Happiness and joy was infectious and the whole atmosphere was wonderful as all parents seemed hugely relaxed. We didn’t manage to photograph them all together which was disappointing but believe us it was super joyful.

While our beaches were closed over the Christmas period (they’re open again now), fishing licences were obtained and a number of fish (mainly sharks) were caught. Great fun as they give quite a fight. They were all returned to the sea.
The number of hikes that people went on was quite eye watering as they recounted their adventures to us.
We wish we had had a chance to accompany them, but we held on to the home-base! We all loved it and are just sad that this fun time will never be repeated in the same way !
